HEPA H13:
Filtration Efficiency: H13 filters capture 99.95% of particles that are 0.1 microns in diameter.
Application: Commonly used in medical environments, cleanrooms, and residential air purifiers. It provides high-level filtration for particles like pollen, dust, and mold spores.
HEPA H14:
Filtration Efficiency: H14 filters capture 99.995% of particles that are 0.1 microns in diameter.
Application: Typically used in more demanding environments like pharmaceutical manufacturing, hospitals, and laboratories where ultra-clean air is essential. It can filter even finer particles, including some bacteria and viruses.
Key Difference:
While both H13 and H14 filters provide excellent air purification, H14 offers a slightly higher filtration rate, making it suitable for ultra-critical environments. However, this comes with a trade-off in terms of airflow, as H14 filters tend to restrict airflow more than H13 due to their denser structure.
